Collapsed bridge leaves people stranded - in Niger

The collapsed bridge

A heavy downpour of rain was responsible for the collapse of a bridge in Gidan Mai Village along Mokwa - Makera road in Niger state.

The unfortunate collapse has halted movement on the bridge as a great portion of the road was damaged, stranding people on both sides.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) reported to the scene to start the process of solving the problem as motorists find it impossible to navigate the road to their destinations.
